I decided to get one after my lifetime Schuck's/Checker/Kraken one was replaced three times in 4
months. Its worth it to me to not keep having to install a new one every month or so. Plus if
I have to crank up a hill after stalling it will do it. Its guaranteed for two years
and is highly raved about by all the magazines(4wheeler, 4x4 power, and 4wheel and sport utility). It
will last
approximately 300,000 miles plus. An additional benefit is that it cures hot start problems, and wont crap out on you in the
back country!!.

The IH application weighs 10.5 pounds
vs. the old 22 pound that was made originally in the 60s.Thats a big weight savings...but it may not matter on a rugged old
scout or 4x4..;-)
