When i saw that BCb makes all their lines in house from American made parts and their line had the required outer coating over the braided portion to print the black stripe on and be DOT compliant i ordered. The others out there try to pass theirs off. My dad worked at the dept of transportation and the coating with the printed line is required to monitor if there is twisting in the line. If it does not have the line coating then it is not DOT and will fail the whip test. Other feature i liked was the one piece ends. Others use separate adapters and thats just threads waiting to strip or leak in my opinion. (Posted on 9/29/14)Price Quality Value
