Our kit is the original kit and comes complete with stainless attaching hardwear. A few greedy competitors copied us and charge more and dont give you the attaching hardwear. First saw these when John came out with them at a scout show. Years later when i got to paint i looked and saw several people copied BCB's product. Best thing is these are designed better, less expensive and come with the stainless hardwear. Winning all the way. Hats off to BCB for a quality part at the best price on the web. I don't know how many times I had got a full tank and either left most of it on the HWY or someplace because I parked on a incline. Not only is this the best idea ever for a Scout 80 or 800 but it will pay for itself in just a matter of time. Plus, it's the best value and the lowest profile that you will find! Believe me I looked! And it mounts right up to the preexisting holes and with the no leak cap it's a perfect match that keeps that old school original look and added practical use. Not even to mention the awesome customer service at BCB! It beats every other Scout supply store I have ever had to deal with.
