Quick Overview
If your Scout 800 or Scout 2 rear drums brakes are worn out and needing new parts to recondition them, this conversion is a simple way to gain better brakes that are safer, easier to maintain, and have more stopping power especially when they get wet. The rotors clean out and do not hold dirt and crud that will score and grove your drums up. The cost of replacing two drums with new Wagner drums is about $250 so it's a great time for an upgrade. NO WELDNG will be required to mount the brake caliper brackets as they are now bolt on. Pictures shown are of our old kit but the new bolt on is the same just with bolt on brackets instead for even easier instalation. Instructions are included with this simple kit. This kit is designed to use one of two style GM calipers. This kit includes the e-brake type brand new caliper to retain emergency function in the event of a loss in hydraulic pressure and be DOT compliant..
